Field Scientific Leader (GU, GYN & GI Cancers) – Ankara

About the role

Based in Ankara, you will work at the cutting edge of oncology, collaborating with internal teams and external experts to shape the patient ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal AstraZeneca teams and external stakeholders to develop impactful scientific solutions.
• Share clinical trial and treatment trend information with healthcare professionals.
• Train internal stakeholders on scientific aspects of molecules or disease areas.
• Support the Sales Force with technical training on diseases and treatments.
• Engage Key External Experts on study proposals, publications, and local/global clinical studies.
• Prioritize engagements with healthcare institutions, medical societies, hospitals, and payers to improve patient outcomes.
• Plan and execute field activities focused on scientific content and discussions, including symposia, advisory boards, and scientific lectures.

Required profile

• University degree from a Medical Faculty with oncology experience.
• Strong knowledge of customer segments, market dynamics, and ability to discuss scientific content to multiple audiences.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Turkish, with strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Project management ability, teamwork orientation, and a valid driving licence with no travel restrictions.
