Field Scientific Leader (GU & GYN & GI Cancers)

About the role

This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference to patients’ lives by translating scientific breakthroughs into transformative medicines for complex cancers. Based in Ankara, you will work at the cutting edge of oncology, collaborating with internal and external experts to shape the patient ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal AstraZeneca teams and external Key External Experts (KEEs) on study proposals, publications, and clinical trial insights.
• Share clinical trial trends and treatment information with healthcare professionals and support sales force training on disease areas.
• Organise scientific events such as symposia, advisory boards, and doctor group activities.
• Prioritise engagements with hospitals, medical societies, payers and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required profile

• University degree from a Medical Faculty with oncology experience.
• Strong knowledge of customer segments, market dynamics and scientific content.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Turkish.
• Valid driving licence, no travel restrictions and willingness to travel frequently.
