Field Scientific Leader – GU, GYN & GI Cancers

About the role

This position offers the chance to impact patients' lives by translating scientific breakthroughs into transformative medicines for complex cancers. Based in Ankara, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive scientific engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal AstraZeneca teams and external Key External Experts on study proposals, publications, and field activities.
• Share clinical trial trends and treatment insights with healthcare professionals and train internal stakeholders on scientific aspects.
• Support the Sales Force with disease and treatment training as a technical resource.
• Engage with medical societies, hospitals, payers and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Organise and deliver scientific events such as symposia, advisory boards and lectures.

Required profile

• University degree from a Medical Faculty with oncology experience.
• Strong knowledge of customer segments, market dynamics and scientific communication.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Turkish.
• Valid driving licence, no travel restrictions and willingness to travel frequently.
