Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot Avery Dennison systems and equipment for customers in the apparel segment. Based in Istanbul, the role involves frequent travel to customer sites and acts as a market intelligence link for internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage installation and system integration of equipment at customer locations, using company vehicles or reimbursed travel.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for mechanical, electrical, hardware and software issues.
• Conduct proactive maintenance and performance optimisation to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide market feedback on customer needs and trends to commercial and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of field service experience with complex systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, able to diagnose issues under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Turkish and English.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel 40‑60% of the time.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hardware and software systems in the apparel industry.
• Experience with RFID, thermal printing, PLCs and IoT technologies.
