Finance Lead Turkey

About the role

Takeda is looking for a Finance Lead based in Istanbul, Turkey, to lead the local end-to-end finance agenda for the market. The role works closely with the Cluster Finance team and GCC, acting as the main finance contact for the country team, local leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local planning, performance support, finance coordination and statutory interface activities, building and owning local plans, forecasts and financial commentary.
• Challenge the business constructively on ambition, phasing, productivity, risks and execution realism, and escalate complex risks and control concerns.
• Coordinate with GCC/shared services and cluster controllership so that reporting, close, reconciliations and controls are accurate and on time; review local close outputs before submission to cluster or IBU governance.
• Support compliance, audit readiness, statutory reporting and authority-facing requirements with the relevant cluster or regional controller.
• Lead local transfer pricing execution and governance, monitor intercompany transactions and support transfer pricing documentation, reviews and audits.
• Drive cash-flow planning and liquidity management through forecasting and working-capital optimization, identifying cash-flow risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to improving local-to-cluster ways of working, including digital, analytics and AI-enabled finance tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; professional finance or accounting qualification preferred.
• 15+ years of finance experience across planning, reporting, control, business partnering or local market finance support.
• Experience supporting legal entities, country leadership teams or market-level stakeholders preferred; pharmaceutical, healthcare or similarly regulated industry experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of local statutory, regulatory or local GAAP requirements preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced experience with enterprise planning tools, Power BI or equivalent reporting and analytics platforms preferred.
• Broad finance leadership, planning and forecasting, financial reporting and close review, controls coordination and statutory awareness.
• Local stakeholder partnership, independent judgment, strong communication, high ownership and accountability.
