Finance Specialist

About the role

A proactive and detail-oriented Finance Specialist is sought to join the Finance & Accounting team. The role covers daily accounting operations, financial reporting and active involvement in ERP development, digitalization and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations, depreciation, provisions and payroll postings
• Post and control supplier and customer invoices in the ERP system
• Process employee expense claims and reconcile company credit cards
• Perform vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support weekly payment runs and collection follow-ups
• Ensure accurate tax postings and support timely tax declarations (VAT, withholding tax, stamp duty, corporate tax)
• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections and external advisors
• Contribute to ERP development, digitalization and process improvement, and maintain internal controls and compliance
• Support the annual budget and prepare financial reports for management and headquarters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, services or manufacturing
• Good command of English, written and spoken
• Solid knowledge of Turkish accounting principles and tax regulations; IFRS/TFRS knowledge is a plus
• Having started or completed the Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) qualification is an advantage

Required skills

• Hands-on ERP experience (Navision preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
