Financial Controller – Istanbul

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Istanbul and reports to senior management. The Financial Controller will lead the preparation, analysis and reporting of the company’s financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance and provide strategic financial insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end management reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Lead margin and volume analysis, consolidate results and present findings to management.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, comparing actual performance against targets.
• Manage working capital, analyse business operations and financial aspects of projects and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and internal business processes, and maintain finance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or professional qualifications are a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, preferably in a controlling function.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to influence strategic decisions.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in Turkish and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
