Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the monthly close process, ensure accurate IFRS financial statements, and support group reporting. The role collaborates closely with project, sales, and finance teams to drive cost control and profitability analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly hard close and prepare IFRS financial statements.
• Manage trial balance, adjustment schedules, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Prepare and submit group reporting using consolidation tools and platforms.
• Support cost controlling activities and prepare PoC statements with project teams.
• Produce margin, cost‑center, and profit‑center analyses in partnership with sales and project teams.
• Handle IFRS 16 data preparation and submission via Tagetik.
• Develop monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets, submitting them through SAC.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in audit or financial controlling, preferably in an international company; Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and IFRS; CPA/SMMM qualification is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP, SAP Analytics, SAP BW and SAC.
• Experience using Tagetik for consolidation and IFRS 16 reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and Turkish GAAP.
