Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

About the role

Diageo is hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis Executive (FP&A) for the Turkey Finance team based in Istanbul. The role sits within the wider Turkey Finance team, which supports the delivery of business objectives across the P&L, balance sheet and market share, and acts as a business partner to stakeholders inside and outside finance. It is central to the decision-making of the functions and the Innovation team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders across the Turkey business on performance management and investment analysis
• Compile the monthly forecast for overheads and advertising and promotional spend
• Provide decision support to help maximise net sales value, gross profit and gross margin percentage
• Support innovation so the pipeline aligns with strategy and work with the business partner innovation team on complex projects
• Support three-year strategic planning and investment choices
• Focus on average working capital and cash

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or similar roles
• Ability to build genuine relationships based on mutual trust and respect, and to manage senior stakeholders
• Comfort with ambiguity, complexity and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, matrixed environment
• Strong commercial and numerical acumen with attention to detail

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel
• SAP or equivalent
• CRM system knowledge (an advantage)
• Foundations of financial analysis
