Fleet Control and Reporting Engineer

About the role

DFDS is seeking a Fleet Control and Reporting Engineer to join its fleet team. In this position you will monitor vehicle and driver operations, plan efficient routes and loads, and ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Track vehicle locations, driver working hours, and routes in real time.
• Plan and optimise routes and loads to maximise vehicle utilisation.
• Manage and resolve international fines related to fleet activities.
• Analyse fuel consumption, maintenance, insurance and depreciation costs.
• Identify and implement measures to reduce idle days and improve overall fleet efficiency.
• Conduct market‑based price analysis to evaluate alternative logistics solutions.
• Ensure compliance with tachograph, ADR and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare performance reports on utilisation rates, fuel usage and cost metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in fleet management, logistics or transportation analysis.
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Male candidates must have completed military service.
• Residence in Çayırova, Darıca or Gebze is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Familiarity with reporting software or programs.
