Flexographic Printing Operator (Flekso Matbaa Ustası)

About the role

AS Plastik Packaging, a provider of flexible plastic packaging solutions with over 40 years of experience, is hiring a full-time, on-site flekso matbaa ustası (flexographic printing operator) in Arnavutköy. The role covers setting up, operating and monitoring flexographic printing machines used in the production of flexible plastic packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare plates and inks, adjust machine settings, check colour consistency and ensure print quality according to production specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting, and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with production, quality control and maintenance teams to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep accurate records of production runs, report issues promptly and support continuous improvement in print efficiency and waste reduction.

Required profile

• Experience operating and setting up flexographic printing machines for flexible plastic packaging.
• Previous experience in a printing or packaging facility; flexo printing experience is highly preferred.
• Vocational or technical training in printing technologies, packaging or related fields is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Arnavutköy and follow workplace safety and company policies.

Required skills

• Colour matching, basic prepress preparation (plates, inks) and knowledge of printing materials and substrates.
• Ability to read technical production instructions, work orders and quality standards.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting, routine machine maintenance and safe machine operation.
• Attention to detail, quality focus and ability to detect and correct printing defects.
• Strong time management and teamwork skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
