Foreign Trade Financial Operations Specialist

About the role

Sanipak exports its leading brands in cleaning papers, personal care, home care, baby care and out-of-home categories to more than 80 countries. It is looking for a Foreign Trade Financial Operations Specialist to manage the accounting and financial operations behind import and export transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial operations related to import and export transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile import and export accounts.
• Monitor import and export regulations and make sure regulatory updates are reflected in the systems.
• Review invoices from customs, logistics and foreign trade service providers and manage related payments and reconciliations.
• Review accounting entries and supporting documentation for import transactions.
• Support monthly VAT and tax reporting and prepare input VAT lists for the monthly VAT refund process.
• Work with IT and other teams to digitise and improve import and export processes in SAP.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics and other teams so that imports and exports are completed accurately, on time and fully reconciled.

Required profile

• University graduate from a relevant department.
• At least 4 years of experience in the finance field.
• Experience in current account / accounts receivable management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience in SAP is preferred.
