Freelance Packaging Designer – AI-Assisted Concept Development

About the role

We are seeking a freelance packaging designer based in Turkey to create AI‑assisted packaging concepts for consumer beverage products. You will work independently, using your own tools and equipment, to deliver fast, innovative visual ideas that support product innovation and strategic discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initial packaging and label concepts from briefs, translating brand objectives into visual directions.
• Participate in live brainstorming sessions with stakeholders when agreed, generating multiple creative options in real time.
• Use AI‑powered tools to rapidly produce mockups, label variations, flavor extensions, and limited‑edition concepts.
• Combine AI‑generated imagery with traditional graphic design techniques to refine ideas and ensure brand alignment.
• Revise concepts based on stakeholder feedback, meeting project milestones and turnaround times.
• Deliver concept boards and presentation‑ready visuals for hand‑off to internal or external design teams.
• Provide recommendations on shelf impact, consumer appeal, packaging trends, and competitive positioning.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in CPG packaging design, brand design, or packaging innovation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing consumer product packaging projects, especially beverage packaging.
• Ability to generate multiple creative directions quickly and respond constructively to feedback.
• Established freelance business with proper registrations, equipment, and licensed software.
• Independent work style with excellent time‑management and professional client‑relationship skills.
