Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Export Sales Specialist

About the role

Gravity Trade seeks a commercially driven Export Sales Specialist to expand its international fresh fruit and vegetable business. You will develop new export customers, manage sales pipelines, and oversee transactions from negotiation to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new international customers such as importers, wholesalers, distributors, and retail chains.
• Manage existing relationships, prepare offers, negotiate prices and payment terms, and follow up on orders.
• Coordinate with Procurement on product availability, specifications, quality, packaging and costs.
• Ensure customer onboarding, KYC, credit approvals and contractual documentation.
• Work with Operations, Logistics and Quality teams to guarantee timely shipment and delivery.
• Monitor payments, outstanding balances, claims and commercial settlements with Finance.
• Track transaction profitability, report risks and maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Agricultural Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in fresh fruit and vegetable export sales or international fresh produce trading.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and able to coordinate multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required skills

• Good command of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
