Geography Teacher

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position involves planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate geography lessons at Ihsan International School in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the school curriculum.
• Deliver classroom instruction, assess student progress through assignments and tests, and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behavior, support diverse learning needs, and incorporate technology and interactive methods where appropriate.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and communicate with families about student progress.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with relevant teaching credentials and experience in education.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in Geography and ability to connect content to real‑world contexts.
• Experience in international or multicultural school settings and proficiency in English is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geography, Education, or a related field preferred.
