Global Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Global Legal Counsel to lead and manage all legal matters across our international operations. The role reports to executive management and provides strategic legal guidance on commercial and corporate issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage legal affairs across the Group’s international footprint.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on commercial and corporate matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Oversee litigation, arbitration, mediation and coordinate external law firms.
• Manage corporate governance activities, including board and shareholder resolutions, registrations and statutory compliance.
• Support M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, investments and financing activities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks to ensure business continuity.
• Lead compliance initiatives covering governance, competition law, data privacy, ethics and regulatory requirements.
• Manage intellectual property matters and protect the company’s global legal interests.
• Develop legal policies, procedures and standardized documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and digitalisation within the legal function.
• Lead, coach and develop the legal team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Law degree and a valid Attorney‑at‑Law license.
• Extensive experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Leadership experience in multinational or international organisations (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, commercial contracts and international legal frameworks.
• Experience supporting M&A, corporate restructuring and cross‑border legal matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
• Analytical thinking, commercial mindset and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluent English is essential.
