Global Logistics & Customer Services Director

About the role

Hayat, a global FMCG leader with more than 10,000 employees, is looking for a Global Logistics & Customer Services Director to lead its supply chain function from its headquarters in Istanbul. The role will shape and execute the worldwide logistics and customer service strategy, ensuring operational excellence across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global logistics and customer service strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Standardize and lead transportation, warehousing, distribution and customer service processes across multiple countries.
• Own performance metrics such as fill rate, order cycle time and customer experience, driving continuous improvement.
• Design governance models, KPIs, reporting frameworks and best‑practice standards for all business units.
• Optimize end‑to‑end logistics, including network design, transportation modes, warehousing and 3PL/4PL partnerships to reduce total logistics cost.
• Establish scalable logistics operating models for new markets, acquisitions and expansions.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives using SAP, advanced planning systems, TMS, WMS, automation and analytics.
• Monitor global performance through dashboards and scorecards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure supply resilience and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in global logistics, supply chain or customer service leadership.
• Proven track record of driving logistics optimisation and cost reduction across multiple regions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to design KPIs, reporting and governance structures.
• Experience managing 3PL/4PL relationships and leading digital transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment.
