Goods Supplier Accounting Business Partner (Project Based)

About the role

METRO is hiring a Goods Supplier Accounting Business Partner on a project basis in Bagcilar. The role acts as the main link between suppliers, store operations and category teams on accounting matters, and includes oversight of the Shared Service Center in India.

Key responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations with suppliers and vendors.
• Respond to suppliers' accounting-related inquiries and requests promptly.
• Analyze the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders.
• Act as the key contact for accounting coordination between Store Operations, Suppliers and Category teams.
• Monitor and oversee the activities of the Shared Service Center in India, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and provide training when needed.
• Monitor incoming e-invoices and make sure they are routed to the right departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in general accounting.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to stay organized in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP.
