Group Medical Manager (GU&GYN&GI Cancers)

About the role

Join AstraZeneca as a Group Medical Manager focusing on GU, GYN & GI cancers. You will help shape scientific leadership, generate medical evidence, and support market access for innovative oncology therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader through proactive medical input and engagement with scientific leaders and professional societies.
• Generate medical evidence to support brand strategies and address unmet medical needs in priority therapeutic areas.
• Provide medical expertise to influence regulatory environments and achieve rapid, high‑quality market access.
• Deliver training on product medical background to internal functions and ensure governance compliance across patient safety, clinical trials, and promotional activities.
• Coach team members, identify key external experts, and collaborate on medico‑marketing activities.

Required profile

• University degree from a Medical Faculty.
• Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably oncology.
• Advanced command of written and spoken English.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel frequently.

Required skills

• Medical Affairs expertise in oncology.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and market access processes.
