Groups, Meetings and Events Sales Executive

About the role

The Groups, Meetings and Events Sales Executive drives revenue for conferences and events at Hilton Istanbul Bomonti. You will generate sales leads, convert bookings and build lasting client relationships to maximise hotel profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and understand competitor offerings to optimise profit.
• Prepare and send event proposals, conduct site inspections, menu tastings and pre‑meeting briefings.
• Negotiate contracts, issue pro‑forma invoices and follow up on first payments.
• Provide room and banquet availability and rates in line with the hotel’s selling strategy.
• Entertain and assist walk‑in guests, lead site inspections and support groups during events.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming calls and enquiries according to telephone handling procedures.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related fields.
• Experience in office management or coordination in a similar sales position.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional English written and verbal skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and Hilton’s values.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems.
