Groups, Meetings and Events Sales Supervisor

About the role

The Groups, Meetings and Events Sales Supervisor supports selling strategies to maximise lead conversion and revenue at Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center. The role also fosters a culture of high quality standards and proactive selling.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing business plans, identify gaps and implement proactive measures to meet targets.
• Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the team.
• Contribute to the hotel’s selling strategy and manage departmental execution.
• Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to stay ahead locally.
• Develop the team and promote high‑quality, proactive selling.
• Manage an events schedule to maximise yield and execute up‑selling.
• Build strong customer relationships and arrange hotel show rounds.
• Ensure complete administration and execution of all planned events.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality or Business Administration.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and solution‑oriented team player.
• Committed to confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Advanced use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems.
