Head of External Affairs & Communications (Turkey)

About the role

The Head of External Affairs & Communications will join Roche Diagnostics Türkiye’s leadership team, reporting to the General Manager Turkey and the Head of MC Central Asia and Caucasia. This senior role is responsible for shaping and executing the affiliate’s external affairs, market access, and corporate communications strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee External Affairs, Market Access, and Corporate Communications across the affiliate.
• Develop and implement government relations and public policy strategies, engaging with regulators, policymakers, and key healthcare stakeholders.
• Drive public affairs initiatives to influence reimbursement, pricing, and policy decisions.
• Coordinate contract, litigation, and risk‑assessment processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Align affiliate activities with global and regional strategies, acting as a central integrator across functions.
• Coach and empower the team, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and patient‑centricity.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in external affairs, public policy, or communications within the healthcare or diagnostics sector.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate complex, volatile markets.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills and a track record of influencing government and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to drive cross‑functional collaboration and deliver business results in a fast‑paced environment.
