Hotel Manager – Luxury Resort (Bodrum)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum is a stunning 5‑star resort overlooking the Aegean Sea. We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead daily operations, drive guest service excellence and develop our team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the hotel’s daily operational needs, ensuring consistent guest service, colleague productivity and safety.
• Execute operational and strategic initiatives, providing feedback and alternatives.
• Develop lower and middle management through coaching, mentoring and communication.
• Lead quality assessments, local LQE initiatives and the annual Safe & Sound audit.
• Chair the monthly Risk Management Committee meetings to ensure full departmental compliance.
• Oversee strategic projects, preventive maintenance programmes and energy‑saving initiatives.
• Support the Director of Finance with budgeting and the development of sales and marketing strategies.
• Drive People & Culture initiatives, including recruitment, career development and performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of extensive luxury hotel experience, with at least 4 years as a Resort/Hotel Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English and Turkish; additional languages a plus.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret integrated spreadsheets and technical data.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
