About the role

The Pharmaceutical Purchasing Specialist will support the Central Supply Chain Directorate of MLP CARE by managing the procurement of medicines and related products. This position ensures timely delivery, cost‑effective sourcing, and compliance with internal procedures within the health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify suppliers for centrally approved products.
• Collect quotations, evaluate offers and report the most suitable ones.
• Retrieve historical purchase data from internal unit requests.
• Monitor supplier performance to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Create and maintain material stock cards in the system according to the central coding structure.
• Update stock card information to reflect any changes requested by hospitals.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing management experience in the health sector.
• Proven ability to use resources efficiently.
• Experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Analytical mindset with strong negotiation capabilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
