Import & Logistics Specialist

About the role

Wanhua Chemical Türkiye is expanding its operations in Turkey and seeks an Import & Logistics Specialist to oversee import processes, bonded warehouse activities, inventory control, customs compliance, and domestic logistics from its Istanbul base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end import and customs operations for containerized and tank shipments, including documentation and customer communication.
• Coordinate daily activities with customs brokers, bonded warehouses, transportation providers, and other logistics partners.
• Oversee bonded warehouse operations such as receipts, transfers, withdrawals, and customer deliveries.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct monthly stock reconciliations, and perform month‑end warehouse calculations.
• Track stock movements and logistics transactions in SAP and verify related invoices.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives by monitoring logistics expenses and identifying operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import, customs, or logistics operations, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish customs regulations and bonded‑warehouse procedures.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional Chinese language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience using SAP for logistics and inventory management.
