Indirect Procurement Manager

About the role

A leading technology-enabled consumer services organization, which operates one of Turkey's most extensive nationwide networks, is looking for a strategic and commercially driven Procurement Category Manager to lead its broad indirect procurement portfolio. The role covers category strategy, sourcing, supplier management and team leadership, working closely with business stakeholders across many functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category management and sourcing strategies across multiple indirect procurement categories.
• Lead supplier selection, tendering, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance management.
• Manage procurement activities for supply chain and logistics, warehousing and transportation, field operations, IT and cyber security, marketing and corporate communications, sales and commercial functions, and HR, finance, legal and other corporate services.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted procurement business partner.
• Drive cost optimization, value creation, supplier innovation and risk mitigation.
• Lead contract lifecycle management and ensure governance and compliance.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of procurement specialists.
• Support business transformation projects and improve procurement processes and capabilities.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and report regularly to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in indirect procurement and category management.
• Proven experience managing multiple procurement categories and complex sourcing projects.
• Previous team management or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost-saving and value-creation initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in matrix organizations.

Required skills

• Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience with procurement systems and ERP platforms; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
