Indirect Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Indirect Purchasing Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement of services and general expenses for our automotive‑focused operations. The role supports cost‑saving initiatives and ensures reliable supply across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage indirect procurement categories such as catering, transportation, cleaning, security, maintenance, consultancy and facility services.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate quotations, negotiate terms and select suppliers.
• Prepare, negotiate and administer framework agreements, catalog contracts and long‑term service agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct cost analyses and drive continuous improvement.
• Execute purchase requisitions, orders and service entries in SAP S/4HANA MM and report on spend and KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
• Proven experience with service categories and supplier management.
• Fluent English and strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (MM module) for purchase requisitions, orders and service entries.
• RFQ/RFP process management and commercial evaluation.
• Cost analysis and identification of cost‑saving opportunities.
