Industry Principal – Mining, Metal & Minerals

About the role

As an Industry Principal for the Mining, Metal and Minerals sector, you will drive demand for AVEVA’s software solutions by leveraging deep industry expertise, shaping value propositions and providing thought leadership to support the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Increase AVEVA’s market penetration and share within the mining, metal and minerals value chain.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships across customers and partners.
• Support sales opportunities with industry‑specific insights and expertise.
• Analyse business drivers, strategic trends and competitive threats to enhance the value proposition.
• Create use cases, value propositions and collateral for AVEVA products and solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; STEM background highly desired.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in the industry, supporting operations or engineering in at least two relevant sectors.
• Strong business acumen, excellent written and oral communication, and proven executive‑level presentation skills.
• Visionary change‑agent, early technology adopter, with a track record in business development and consultative selling at C‑level.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of industrial software solutions.
