In‑House Legal Counsel – International Trade

About the role

Gravity Trade is seeking an experienced In‑House Legal Counsel to support its international trading and logistics operations. The role will focus on drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, managing corporate legal matters for the Turkey entity, and handling claims and litigation related to cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate international sales, purchase, distribution, supplier, procurement, logistics, warehousing, service agreements and NDAs.
• Assess contractual exposure concerning payment terms, liabilities, Incoterms, delivery obligations, penalties and commercial risks.
• Support corporate legal processes and documentation for the Turkey entity and group‑wide operations.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors, notaries, authorities and consultants as needed.
• Submit and respond to claims against counterparties and manage related documentation.
• Promote and maintain the document management system.

Required profile

• Legal education obtained in Turkey or from an international university.
• Fluent in English (mandatory) and strong Russian language skills (advantage).
• Proven experience in international trading, logistics and commercial contract work.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to propose practical solutions.
• Experience with IT system implementation such as ERP, CRM, contract management, e‑document flow or legal process automation.
