Inside Sales – Air & Ocean Logistics

About the role

Rhenus is seeking an Inside Sales professional to support air and ocean freight operations. You will act as the bridge between customers and operational teams, ensuring smooth sales cycles and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sales processes by tracking customer requests and communicating them to operations.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target sectors and potential clients.
• Maintain regular visits and online meetings with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare quotations, perform cost analysis, set pricing strategies and draft offers.
• Provide customers with information and consultancy on transport methods, delivery times and other logistics matters.
• Support the sales team with tools, content and resources to achieve targets.
• Expand the customer portfolio through daily outreach and create cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of customers and offers in CRM and related systems.

Required profile

• Graduate of a relevant bachelor’s program (Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration or similar).
• 1–2 years of inside sales experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Basic knowledge of sea and air transport processes.
• Proficient in English (preferred).

Required skills

• Effective use of CRM programs for customer and offer management.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
• Experience in quotation preparation, pricing and cost analysis.
