Inspector – İzmit

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for an Inspector to join its team in İzmit (Kocaeli). The role focuses on guaranteeing quality, health and safety, risk mitigation and performance improvement for large‑scale petrochemical, refinery and other industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect rotating equipment and verify compliance with API standards.
• Conduct mechanical performance tests and vibration measurements.
• Perform foundation, grout, elevation and axis inspections before installation.
• Check motor rotation direction and adjust couplings (pre‑coupling, pump stress, soft‑foot, final coupling).
• Prepare technical reports and support commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2 years of study).
• 3–5 years of experience in petrochemical, refinery or similar large industrial facilities.
• Hands‑on experience with rotating equipment inspections and commissioning.
• Knowledge of API standards and mechanical principles of rotating machinery.
• Ability to produce technical reports and reside in or relocate to Kocaeli.
