Installation & Commissioning Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an Installation & Commissioning Team Leader to own the production, installation, integration, and commissioning phases of our test system projects. You will lead field operations, coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with design documentation and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production, installation, and commissioning phases for projects with released design documentation.
• Coordinate technical evaluation and selection of manufacturers and subcontractors with Procurement.
• Develop and execute installation and commissioning plans, allocate resources, and organise field teams.
• Lead on‑site mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical installation activities and system integration.
• Oversee FAT, SAT and customer acceptance tests, and resolve issues during field work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience, including 2 years in installation, commissioning or field coordination.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and automation systems.
• Strong analytical, root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, assembly drawings, P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Mechanical assembly, hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge.
• Field integration and commissioning processes.
• Subcontractor and supplier management.
