Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

ASD Laminat seeks an Internal Audit Specialist to assess risks, evaluate control environments, and support continuous improvement across its forest products operations in Turkey and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Assess risks and the control environment, documenting and reporting audit findings.
• Conduct audit and control activities using ERP systems and data‑analytics tools.
• Audit business processes in line with internal audit standards and the annual risk‑based audit plan.
• Contribute to risk‑management evaluation and mitigation aligned with strategic objectives.
• Review financial and accounting practices for accuracy and investigate potential ethical violations.
• Prepare clear audit reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal or external audit, preferably within manufacturing.
• Professional certification (CIA, CRMA, CFE, CPA) or pursuit of such certification is an advantage.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
• Advanced Excel skills for large‑dataset analysis.
• Data‑analytics tools for audit and control activities.
