Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

Nobel is looking for an Internal Audit Specialist who will carry out end-to-end audit activities according to the approved audit plan or specific assignments and report to the Internal Audit Manager. The role covers process and continuous audits, investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct process and continuous audits in line with the annual internal audit plan.
• Carry out fraud and irregularity investigations and report the results to top management.
• Create audit findings and improvement suggestions with the relevant process owners and present them to top management with risk-mitigation actions.
• Follow up on action plans to ensure timely and adequate implementation of corrective actions.
• Apply international internal audit standards and develop recommendations to strengthen the internal audit function.
• Identify and evaluate risks across the enterprise and help set up preventive internal controls.
• Review resource use and make recommendations for its effective, economical and efficient use.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in multinational companies; experience in manufacturing and pharmaceuticals is an asset.
• Experience in investigations and process audits is preferred.
• CIA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Good command of MS Office; data analysis experience and awareness of information security and IT environments are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
