Internal Control Specialist

About the role

Join Vodafone as an Internal Control Specialist and contribute to risk‑based reviews of business processes, ensuring the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk‑based reviews of business processes and assess internal control effectiveness.
• Identify control deficiencies, process risks, and compliance issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic control activities, review transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and maintain risk and control matrices and related documentation.
• Coordinate with process owners to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare periodic internal control reports highlighting findings, risks, and action status.
• Escalate significant control deficiencies and regulatory risks to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in process analysis, internal control, audit, risk, compliance or quality.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Interest in internal control, risk management, financial services and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
