International Lawyer – Arabic & English Required

About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Legal Counsel to lead our legal affairs in the mining sector. The role focuses on cross‑border contracts, regulatory compliance, and international trade matters, requiring close interaction with government bodies, business partners, and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and strategic support for international mining projects and investments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, procurement contracts, NDAs, MoUs and other cross‑border documents.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and MENA‑specific legal frameworks.
• Conduct legal risk assessments, due diligence, and support dispute‑resolution or arbitration processes.
• Liaise with government authorities, multinational partners, and internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and membership in a recognized Bar Association (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of professional legal experience in the mining industry.
• Professional working proficiency in Arabic, English, and Turkish; French is a plus.
• Valid work permit or legal authorization to work in Türkiye.

• Strong knowledge of international commercial, corporate, and contract law.
• Experience with mining‑related agreements, international trade regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Advanced legal drafting, contract negotiation, and official correspondence abilities.
• Familiarity with international arbitration and dispute‑resolution mechanisms.
