International Sales and Business Development Engineer

About the role

Barkom Group, a leading Turkish manufacturer of drilling rigs and industrial equipment, is looking for a motivated International Sales and Business Development Engineer to join its team at the Malıköy Anadolu OSB factory in Ankara. The role focuses on driving sales of rigs and equipment worldwide while strengthening customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report domestic and international sales activities in line with company targets.
• Maintain the existing customer portfolio, enhance satisfaction, and acquire new customers.
• Conduct regular customer and site visits to gather feedback and strengthen relationships.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, and follow up the sales process.
• Coordinate contracts, order confirmations, shipments, and payments.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities to increase sales volume and loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Manage after‑sales support and monitor customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, seminars, and site visits.
• Develop regional sales strategies and report performance to management.

Required profile

• Up to 3 years of experience in international sales or business development within OEMs, preferably in machinery or industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in English; additional language is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Knowledge of international trade and global market dynamics.
