IT Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior IT Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and harden our on‑prem and hybrid infrastructure. The role owns the full lifecycle of networking, secure remote access, Linux server operations, storage, backups/DR, observability, and artifact distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain MikroTik/Cisco routers, L3 switches, VPN solutions (including WireGuard) and firewall policies across edge and internal segments.
• Design VLANs, routing, ACLs, and segmentation for production, lab and office networks; troubleshoot performance with packet captures and flow analysis.
• Plan and implement internal, DMZ and external network architectures with clear trust boundaries and bastion/jump‑server patterns.
• Manage IPv4 address space, DHCP/DNS integration, and Nginx reverse‑proxy/load‑balancing with TLS/SSL best practices.
• Administer Linux servers: provisioning, patching, package management, service supervision, log management and out‑of‑band IPMI access.
• Oversee storage hardware, RAID configuration, capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Operate databases with HA/DR strategies, manage snapshots, define RPO/RTO and conduct DR drills.
• Maintain central artifact repositories, mirrors and object‑storage integrations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with hands‑on experience in both systems administration and DevOps practices.
• Strong security mindset, capable of enforcing baselines, managing firewalls and conducting incident response.
• Collaborative attitude, working closely with engineering teams to ensure performance and resilience.
