Junior Accounting Specialist

About the role

Qoolize, a provider of A2P SMS, eSIM, global internet access and voice solutions, is hiring a Junior Accounting Specialist. The role reports to the Finance & Accounting Team Lead and is fully remote, wherever you are.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, including recording and tracking financial transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice tracking and payment follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Support bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and closing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support the Finance & Accounting Team Lead with ad hoc financial and accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a big plus.
