Junior Legal Counsel – International Consultancy

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Legal Counsel to join our Ankara office and support our international consultancy activities. The role offers exposure to legal, compliance and procurement functions within a leading finance and management institution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and improve contract negotiation processes, working with internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop, implement and maintain legal and compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice across the organisation, including AML, CFT and data‑protection requirements.
• Manage administrative and corporate‑governance tasks for the Turkish subsidiaries, including statutory filings.
• Support the preparation and execution of international and local consulting projects, including meeting coordination and documentation.
• Oversee the full procurement cycle from market research and tender preparation to evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
• Maintain project and procurement records and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Based in Ankara.
• Bachelor’s degree in law (legal higher education preferred).
• Fluent in business/legal English, both written and spoken.
• Up to four years of experience in legal and contracting procedures, preferably in a consulting or international environment.
• Familiarity with AML, CFT and data‑protection regulations.
