Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager will develop and manage strategic relationships with global EPC contractors, acting as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts. The role focuses on identifying new project opportunities, strengthening long‑term client partnerships, and coordinating with Hareket’s engineering, estimation, sales and project teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term strategic relationships with senior decision‑makers in EPC firms, including Project Directors, Procurement and Commercial Managers.
• Identify upcoming projects across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable Energy, Power Generation and Industrial sectors and position Hareket as a preferred subcontractor.
• Develop account strategies to increase pipeline, revenue and customer engagement while ensuring profitability and risk management.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, Project Management and Operations during tender and proposal processes, ensuring timely and compliant offers.
• Lead commercial negotiations, framework agreements and contract renewals, and monitor market trends, competitor activity and client investment plans.
• Represent the company at client meetings, project sites, exhibitions and international industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5–8 years of experience in key account management, business development or commercial management within B2B environments.
• Proven experience working with international EPC contractors, preferably in heavy lifting, transport or project logistics sectors.
• Strong understanding of EPC project structures, tendering, commercial negotiations and contract management.
• Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders in multinational organisations.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally without restrictions.
