About the role

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer who lives and breathes AI‑native development. The role combines hands‑on coding, architecture ownership, and AI‑assisted delivery leadership within a delivery squad.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical leadership while actively contributing code and owning end‑to‑end architecture.
Drive specification quality, enforce engineering standards, and ensure delivery governance.
Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to achieve 60%+ AI‑assisted code output.
Configure MCP servers, multi‑agent patterns, and AI/LLM gateways for routing, cost, and fallback management.
Coach engineers on prompt engineering, context management, and skill‑file contributions.
Present progress, architecture, and AI adoption outcomes to senior leadership.

Required profile

12‑15 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years leading AI‑assisted delivery teams.
Proven track record delivering in regulated sectors, preferably financial services.
Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher.

Required skills

Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, microservices architecture.
React, TypeScript, component design, responsive UI, Figma‑to‑code workflows.
REST and event‑driven APIs, OAuth2 / OIDC, PostgreSQL.
Kafka, IBM MQ, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift.
GitOps practices, automated testing, AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
MCP server configuration, multi‑agent patterns, AI/LLM gateway setup.
