Lead Internal Auditor

About the role

Colin's is looking for a Lead Internal Auditor who reports directly to the Internal Audit Group Manager. The role plans and executes risk-based internal audit activities across all company operations and has no direct people management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audit activities across all company operations
• Conduct financial, operational, procurement, supply chain, logistics, store operations and support function audits
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems in line with the COSO Framework and internal audit methodologies
• Perform continuous auditing and monitoring of critical and high-risk business processes
• Identify and report control weaknesses, regulatory non-compliance, fraud risks and process improvement opportunities
• Carry out root cause analysis of audit findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate with business units on the implementation and follow-up of action plans
• Assess compliance with legal regulations, company policies and international internal auditing standards
• Prepare and present audit reports, executive summaries and recommendations to senior management
• Contribute to improving internal audit methodologies, audit programmes and internal control practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field
• At least 12 years of professional audit experience, preferably in Big 4 firms and in internal audit of holding or group companies
• Experience in retail, manufacturing or multi-site organisations is preferred
• No travel restrictions; Class B driver's licence and active driving ability
• Good command of English; Russian is an asset

Required skills

• Strong expertise in risk-based auditing, internal controls, corporate governance, compliance and risk management
• Solid understanding of the COSO Framework and IIA Standards
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills with senior management
