Learning & Development Specialist (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Ford Otosan is looking for a Learning & Development Senior Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role strengthens technical capabilities across the organization by designing and implementing data-driven upskilling and reskilling solutions, combining technical development with learning technologies, analytics and process automation. It focuses primarily on technical development, with contributions to broader L&D initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify technical capability needs and turn them into development priorities, learning journeys and annual plans.
• Design, develop and implement technical upskilling and reskilling programs.
• Support the development of technical academies, curricula and role-based learning paths.
• Conduct capability and learning-needs assessments and turn findings into development solutions.
• Design blended and digital learning solutions using adult-learning principles and instructional design.
• Manage end-to-end learning delivery plans, including content, timing, standards, stakeholder coordination and measurement.
• Use LMS/LXP platforms and digital tools to improve accessibility and efficiency.
• Develop learning analytics, dashboards and reporting, and automate training and development reporting.
• Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve programs using data, feedback and business insights.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, IT teams, technology providers and external partners, and work with the Koç Holding L&D team on group-wide technical development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in learning and development, preferably in a global or complex organization.
• Hands-on experience in technical capability development, learning-needs analysis, upskilling/reskilling, academies or learning-journey design.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Field-operation awareness and experience supporting field populations are an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with LMS/LXP platforms, digital learning, learning analytics or reporting automation.
• Ability to interpret data and turn it into learning decisions.
• Experience designing and delivering blended learning and measuring effectiveness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, Power Query or similar tools are an advantage.
