Local Transport Planner

About the role

Axalta is seeking a Local Transport Planner to join its Gebze facility in Turkey. The role focuses on organizing transport planning for shipment requests and coordinating activities with third‑party logistics providers. You will ensure smooth flow of goods between the warehouse and customers while maintaining accurate SAP records.

Key responsibilities

• Create daily shipping plans in SAP and communicate them to the warehouse and shipping companies.
• Generate and forward e‑delivery notes and e‑waybills to third‑party warehouses, troubleshooting any errors.
• Produce raw‑material and expiration‑date labels for the warehouse.
• Support reconciliation between accounting and warehousing during year‑end inventory counts.
• Perform manual operations not covered by SAP‑LOS integration and provide necessary information to logistics partners.
• Create customer‑specific Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) and act as backup for the Warehousing Assistant when needed.
• Verify the accuracy of SAP records for returned materials and classify logistics invoices for approval.

Required profile

• Academy graduate.
• Approximately 2 years of general logistics experience.
• Good communication skills with third‑party logistics providers and internal colleagues.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic English speaking skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP, preferably the WM (Warehouse Management) module.
