Logistics Specialist

About the role

Yazaki is seeking a Logistics Specialist to ensure the timely, accurate, and quality‑assured supply of all materials required for wiring harness production at its Akyazı plant. The role supports both direct and indirect material flows, coordinating with customers and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee on‑time delivery of materials for wiring harness manufacturing.
• Manage localization of materials in line with customer approvals.
• Track customer orders and follow up across all operational stages.
• Communicate planning, schedules, and delivery status to customers.
• Execute production planning, control, monitoring, and performance reporting.
• Monitor daily stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Conduct feasibility analyses and coordinate master production plans.
• Participate in operational, weekly, monthly, and design‑change meetings.
• Prepare inventory reports, capacity/utilization plans, and long‑term production strategies.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Review and update planning procedures for efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production and material planning.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to Sakarya‑Kocaeli provinces.
