Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inbound, outbound and inter‑site logistics within the Turkish TIGA Cluster. The role ensures smooth 3rd‑party warehouse operations, transport planning and compliance with food safety and legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day 3rd‑party warehouse and transport activities, guaranteeing accurate inventory in SAP.
• Monitor Logistics Service Provider performance through KPIs, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate transport of solid and liquid goods between factories, subcontractors and warehouses, handling exceptions and urgent changes.
• Execute refusals, returns and complaints, ensuring all SAP steps and documentation are completed.
• Lead logistics efficiency projects to reduce cost and improve network flows.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, HSE and legal regulations, participating in internal and external audits.
• Prepare data, reporting and analysis for warehousing, transportation and freight pricing to support supply‑chain decisions.
• Participate in tender processes for logistics and warehouse providers, including selection, onboarding and transition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience.
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational abilities.
• Team‑oriented with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (ERP) systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office tools.
