Machine Operator – Production

About the role

Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is seeking a Machine Operator for its Konya plant. The role involves operating and monitoring production machines to ensure continuous, high‑quality output in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely and efficiently, monitoring performance and quality.
• Manage colour change processes, adjust blow pins, clean mixers and perform basic daily repairs.
• Carry out weekly and monthly maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Set and adjust machine process parameters, perform recipe setups and changes.
• Handle raw and post‑production materials correctly and perform product checks using measuring instruments.
• Record inspection results on relevant forms and follow the control plan.
• Support technical staff in troubleshooting minor quality or production issues.
• Act as Deputy Shift Supervisor when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in electrical or mechanical studies.
• Residency in Konya.
• Strong analytical mindset and team‑oriented attitude.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and focused on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM).
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and techniques.
• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
• Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
• Awareness of health, safety and environment regulations.
