Medical Science Manager (GU & GYN Cancers)

About the role

Join AstraZeneca's globally‑renowned Medical Oncology area as a Medical Science Manager focusing on GU & GYN cancers. You will help shape local medical strategy, support pre‑launch activities, and drive scientific engagement to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt global oncology strategy to the Turkish market and develop a local medical plan.
• Design and execute pre‑launch plans for new products at least two years before launch.
• Generate evidence, manage publications, and engage key external experts (KEEs) to influence clinical practice.
• Lead scientific programmes such as congresses, advisory boards, publications, and CME activities.
• Collaborate with internal functions including Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Market Access.
• Provide field force training on emerging clinical data and trends.

Required profile

• Medical degree (University Faculty of Medicine).
• Minimum 2 years experience in the pharmaceutical sector and at least 1 year in oncology.
• Strong ability to discuss scientific content with diverse audiences.
• Excellent project management, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the regulatory environment and market dynamics.
• Leadership capabilities, teamwork orientation, and valid driving licence.
• Fluent in English and Turkish; willingness to travel frequently.
