Mobile Developer

About the role

Rapsodo is seeking a Mobile Developer to create high‑performance Android and cross‑platform mobile applications that power its sports technology products. You will work closely with product, design, backend and QA teams to deliver intuitive, reliable and scalable experiences for athletes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) applications using Kotlin.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following MVVM and modern architecture principles.
• Build responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Jetpack libraries.
• Improve application architecture, performance, reliability and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking, concurrency and memory‑management issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay up‑to‑date with modern mobile technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on Android mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android fundamentals (Activities, Fragments, Services, Intents, Broadcast Receivers).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM and modern Android development practices.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, data structures and local databases (SQLite, Room, Realm).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities in a cross‑functional engineering environment.
